The grass is green here, too

Wednesday: Y-day - 3

The weather has been so nice that the grass has been fooled into thinking it is still summer. I even killed some daisies today. Tomorrow the rain will come in, fresh from England. Room for cheap comparisons everywhere.

I'm trying to avoid taking too many unfinished tasks with me to York, so I will have my hands free to really start something new. So far my agenda for the upcoming weeks is looking spotless, my inbox has not been this empty in years, everything going as planned. Having an empty agenda should help nurse back to life the research part of my brain that has been hibernating for almost a year now. I'm curious to see what will come up!

I do have a sample model transformation from SDF3 format to Uppaal, kindly provided by +Waheed Ahmad, that I can try Epsilon on, the Eclipse plugin developed by +Louis Rose and others from +Richard Paige's group. That should be fun. I hope I'll find some time tomorrow or the day after to pick Waheed's brain, but otherwise I'll have to make do with his written report.

One thing is sure: no more mowing for me, the next half year or so! Let the green stuff grow!

  1. Hm, it all sounds very exciting, although I must admit the growing of "green things" is exciting enough for my simple mind......your greenloving mum

  2. Trying to fathom what exactly you're looking forward to do once the grass and other green things have stopped coming up. You seem expecting to have fun with peoples brains. Well, i'll wait and read. Wim
